All goals from the match will count and so will the statistics such as GA, GF etc. However in the future (Season 2) when we will have a record book. Season 1 Stats will not be taken into account. And this is for many reasons, but primarily because of the no mercy rule causing 20+ goal games and allowing players like chuckles to score 14 goals in 1 game. So only the awards will be recorded like individual player awards and the league champion.

Since this is like a test season, I think it would be wiser to do whatever changes you are planning to do right now to see if they work very well. I don't really see any point in waiting, since maybe in the next season you will alter the rule again for some reason, so it sounds better to get it set as quickly as possible.
